New Session Discounts & Housekeeping
another in-between-long-posts post.
1. thanks to donators/paid subscribers i’m able to pay rent tomorrow, but it looks uncertain/unlikely as to how i will pay rent next month or afford to continue medical treatment or pay bills.
2. i’ve updated the polestar and yijing tabs with resource links and ways to work with me within those systems (see more below). i’ve also added a tab about gu syndrome, the disease category that i (and many other people unknowingly have). I’ll probably never be a real doctor of Asian medicine but i can’t deny that these systems of knowledge and wisdom are the splints which stabilize my broken life. Be wary of con artists, cults and gatekeepers when entering these domains, and i intend for my work to be a way to somewhat inoculate you against those agents who believe they are doing the right thing (and maybe they are, and maybe the right thing is not a real thing for everyone).
There might be a gu syndrome/possession/mental illness post in the future but that is a metaphorical minefield of language that i’m a bit reluctant to step into. That’s why i’ve made the links to Heiner’s work on the subject perhaps a bit easier to find for non-asian medicine practitioners. If you are suffering from gu syndrome or suspect that you are, please be as informed as possible so that you can vet your potential doctors before you sink years of time and money into them.
in order to try and survive the next few months, i’ve created a few new different types of sessions that people can book:
the first is 30-minute yijing (i ching) divination sessions at a sliding scale of 50-75usd.
the second is daoist polestar natal astrology readings at a discounted rate of $75/hr. Polestar readings are long, packed with information and reflection. 3 hours on average. for further info look at the sessions tab and the polestar tabs above.
