Why/How Practice?

FREE POST: Audio Excerpt Podcast

This is the first half hour lecture from the recent night gardeners monthly session. I also put it on spotify here:

This is not a strictly beginner talk (but i think a mature beginner can deal with it), so let me reiterate some fucking ground rules for engagement including your comments and questions.

  1. i am not asking you to believe me, and i dont care if you do or don’t believe me. that is none of my business and i dont want to hear any part of your opinion about that.

  2. if you have feelings you need to deal with them, not insinuate that i’m required to help you deal with them.

  3. everything i’m saying is based on my lived experience, not ideology. in order to come to these conclusions i had to struggle, overcome various addiction patterns, and root my perception in nature, not “culture”. i don’t give a shit what gods you do or don’t worship, or what myths you do or don’t believe in.

  4. the full context for this talk is in the whole video for premium subscribers.

  5. comments are for actual engagement, not for you to debate. Telling me that you have an opinion that is totally opposite based on some half-baked misinterpretation of what i’m saying is an instant delete with no reply. Arguing with me without proper relationality is an instant delete. Extreme fragility is an instant delete. Conduct yourself with dignity or don’t comment.
